Words from Blake's parents

On Monday, April 5th, our lives were changed forever. Our beautiful baby boy of 19 months, Blake Alexander White, was taken from us suddenly in his sleep. To say Blake was an extraordinary boy is an understatement. His smile changed lives and his personality made people laugh and smile in every situation. Blake’s first instinct was to Love and Love he did. We are crushed by our loss but we will continue to search for comfort in our memories of the pitter patter of feet up and down the halls, the memory of his head on our shoulder, his big open mouth sloppy kisses, but most of all, his beautiful infectious smile. He was all boy. Give him a tractor, some dirt, and a ball and he would be happy for hours. He lived a life full of happiness and was constantly surrounded by his friends, his cousins, aunts and uncles, both sets of grandparents, but most of all the unwavering love of the the two he called “hot Momma” and “hot Dadda”.

So many have reached out to us and our family over the past days and asked us how they can be closer to us in this time of sadness. A very special person has put this website together for us to memorialize our love for our boy. On it, you can share your memories, your love and, if you feel so compelled, you can make a donation. Part of the proceeds will be used for the services, and in the future we will be partnering with The Indian Valley Junior Golf Foundation to set up a scholarship fund to continue Blake’s tradition of enriching the lives of all around him. The Indian Valley Junior Golf Foundation helps young golfers go to camps, play in competition, and go to college. This is a foundation that shaped the lives of Sam and his brother Nathan and we know Blake would have followed in these footsteps.

Should we find that the cause of this tragedy is related to a rare disease that needs research and funding, proceeds will be diverted to help save the lives of other children.
